Make Up + Update

Just wanted to show a close up of the make up I did on Patty last time. I’m a noob in the make-up department so I was so glad she liked it! :D
I’m sorry for not being able to upload new hair posts recently. It’s midterms season and I also have some org work I need to finish up first. I’ve been really busy with school, and my personal life is not helping :c However, I’ve already scheduled a date next week to video the bun tutorials for this post! Yeeey!
On another note, I already have a faq/answers page for anons :)
EDIT:
Oh yeah! And I’ve been DIY-ing a lot lately. I cannot tell you how much of my clothes have already been destroyed and cut up.. but it’s so much fun!!! @u@ An example is this post! :D
I also recently did the hair for So Fab shoes! I’ve actually been a fan since a long time ago, so it was an opportunity I couldn’t resist! Read Domz’s blog about it here to see all the wonderful people there :)
Marié Digby
(Photography and styling by Tricia Gosingtian, make-up by Marj Sia, hair by Liz de Asis and Valerie Chua) Dream team! Thanks to my fabulous beauty queen friend Alexis Go (photo below), I was able to spend a brief afternoon shooting YouTube celebrity-turned-international artist Marié Digby who was so incredibly sweet and nice to talk to and work with. So many photographers could only dream of shooting someone as gorgeous and talented as her. Thank you for the wonderful time, girls!
It was so much fun working with these people! :) Marié is a lovely person!
Crown braid on Tricia :)
Black + Gold
(Topshop top, Urban Outfitters maxi skirt, Asian Vogue satin heels, from Singapore cross necklace, Forever 21 leaf cuff, Bijoux de Lou connector ring; Thanks to the fabulous Liz de Asis for helping me with the photos and for doing an amazing job with my hair!) Hype this look on Lookbook here.
Liz put my hair up in this intricate updo that reminds me very much of formal events, thus the attempt to create an ensemble that’s a little more dressy than usual, but still casual enough for a dinner date. There’s something really elegant with mixing black and gold too, so I wanted that hint of sparkle in my outfit to become an accent to this long, black maxi skirt which might look too dark and heavy on its own.

Goody Spin Pin Contest
Due to a wrong sent message from Goody, I am no longer holding a contest for their Spin Pin product. I never thought that I would have to deal with such an issue. My deepest apologies to those who have entered the contest and hoped to try out the hairstyles I came up with. To make up for this, I will be making tutorials on how to create 2 of the looks using just regular bobby pins :) Please post a reply to which top 2 looks you want a tutorial for :D
Here are the hairstyles as references:

Just G: Young at Heart
(Just G dress, Forever 21 accessories, People are People heels; Thanks to the fabulous Liz de Asis for helping me with the photos and for doing an amazing job with my hair!) Hype this look on Lookbook here.
While Just G is targeted mostly to tweens, I still find a lot of…
